Join The Society of British Theatre Designers as they launch their Quadrennial National  Exhibition and celebration of creative talent in the UK.

Hello Stranger Yorkshire is curated by local theatre designers Lara Booth and Caitlin Mawhinney to bring together designers, makers and audiences to catch up on the landscape of UK performance design. The exhibition charts Yorkshire theatre’s response to an ever-changing world and how creatives responded to cancellations, challenges, and changes of form before emerging back into the fast-paced world.

This is an evening of conversation and shared experiences; a social gathering with an integrated panel Q&A with some of the exhibited artists, ranging from designers to filmmakers.

This event is for everyone, not just designers, so please join us for a cuppa and a natter and a chance to build on our sense of community.

The exhibition will be available to view at the Playhouse from 24 March to 7 April 7.
