Dave Johns, star of Ken Loach’s multi-award-winning film I, Daniel Blake, brings his incredibly funny and heartwarming story to Leeds Playhouse.

I, Filum Star / I, Stand Up is Dave’s incredible journey from bricklayer, to stand up, to film star at the age of 67; From his first meeting with legendary film director Ken Loach, to the shooting of I, Daniel Blake in Newcastle, to the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival and the British Academy Awards in London.
