Buzz (Learning Disabilities)

FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES

Buzz projects and workshops are designed especially for young people aged 14 – 25 with learning disabilities.

We have support workers in each session but if you require one to one support, please bring a personal assistant or carer with you. All sessions are £2 per session and run on Saturdays.

Playhouse Youth Partner

BUZZ FAMILY FORUM

SATURDAYS 1.30PM – 3.30PM DATES TBC

Open to all parents, carers and support workers of Buzz participants. This informal group offers support and information for families and carers. The Forum has regular visits from other organisations offering information and specialist advice on a range of challenges.

FIRST FLOOR ARTISTS

SATURDAYS, 11AM – 12.30PM

(FIRST SESSION 25 JAN)

Calling all budding visual artists! This group is a space for you to work on your own projects or learn new techniques and try new ways of expressing yourself through visual arts.

BUZZ WEEKEND WORKSHOPS

EVERY SAT 1.30PM – 3.30PM

(FIRST SESSION SAT 18 JAN)

Make friends, be creative and develop skills in our Buzz Weekend Workshops. This term we will have workshops in a variety of art forms including music, art, drama and movement. The full timetable is available from First Floor reception.
