Juniors (8-10)

Weekly drama session that helps to build your confidence, invite you to make new friends whilst bringing stories to life through theatre. Come and join in the fun with the Playhouse team. This group is for young people who are or would be in Years 4, 5, & 6.

SUMMER TERM ’24
Dates and Times

Saturdays 27 Apr – 6 Jul, 11am – 12.30pm.
No session during half term (Sat 1 Jun)

Sessions will take place in the Leeds Playhouse rehearsal and theatre spaces. Meet our Youth Theatre staff at Box Office from 10:45am to register before the session.

Seniors (11-21)

Come and join an exciting theatre making journey in a fun, collaborative, and supportive environment. Develop your acting skills and share creative ideas as a member of an ensemble. This group is for young people who are or would be in Years 7, 8 & 9.

SUMMER TERM ’24
Dates and Times

There is a Wednesday session and a Thursday session available.

Wednesdays: 5.30pm –7.30pm, 24 Apr – 3 Jul (No session on Wed 29 May)

Sessions will take place in the Weston Room. Meet our Youth Theatre staff at Box Office to register from 5.15pm, enter the building from the Playhouse Square entrance.

Thursdays: 5.30pm – 7.30pm, 25 Apr – 4 Jul (No session on Thu 30 May).

Sessions will take place in the Leeds Playhouse rehearsal and theatre spaces. Meet our Youth Theatre staff at Box Office to register from 5.15pm, enter the building from the Playhouse Square entrance.

Develop your acting skills and share creative ideas as a member of an ensemble. Work alongside others with a passion for theatre and find out what it takes to devise work for the stage. This group is for young people who are or would be in Years 9, 10 & 11.

There is a Tuesday session and a Thursday session available.

Tuesdays: 23 Apr 2 Jul, 6pm 8pm.
No session during half term (Tue 28 May).

Thursdays: 25 Apr – 4 Jul, 6pm – 8pm.
No session during half term (Thu 30 May).

Take your acting and performance skills to the next level. Work as an ensemble alongside others with a passion for theatre and find out what it takes to devise high quality work. This group is for young people who are or would be in Year 11. It is also open to 16-year-olds who would be confident with older young people.
