The Office for Institutional Equity at Leeds Trinity University created the Social Justice Series to share the stories of inspirational speakers who work to create societal change and promote the principles of social justice in their personal and professional lives.

The Social Justice Series is a free monthly event held at Leeds Playhouse, bringing together students, colleagues and the community for an evening of discussion.

The pilot series was made up of five lectures and ‘in conversation’ sessions. The premise was to develop a culture founded in respect, compassion and social justice. Our Second Series will continue to promote social justice through discussions around Sanctuary; Journalism; Higher Education Awarding Gaps; Social and Institutional Care and more.
