Furnace and MoveSpace have teamed up for the inaugural MoveSpace North event - Move Space North - Open Space. This is a FREE full day event for movement directors, practitioners, artists, choreographers and tutors at all stages of their career to learn, share and connect with each other.

The day’s central question is: what do Movement Practitioners WANT and what do they OFFER?

Open Space invites you to bring your own questions around this theme and to find your own path through the day. The day will be guided by what the attendees are interested in. Your hosts Movement Practitioner and Choreographer Laura Dredger and Movement Director Jennifer Kay will facilitate multiple small groups simultaneously discussing anything and everything movement. You can join in with as much or as little as you like!

The life of a Movement Practitioner can be isolated, so come and join your community. Learn. Share. Connect. Move.

The day will run 10am-5pm, with the option to arrive from 9am for brews and settling in. You are welcome to take breaks, come and go as you please, but we’d love you to join us for the opening and closing if possible.
