Tambo and Bones are stuck in a minstrel show. Their escape plan: get out, get rich, get even.
This satirical show contains sounds of gunfire, strong language, repeated use of a racial slur, references to ethnic violence and war crimes, and discusses themes some may find upsetting relating to race.
This performance on Friday 16 May including a DJ and Kitchen Takeover* is curated for those of a Global Majority background to experience the show with a majority Global Majority audience.
Join us for a night watching Tambo & Bones, an exhilarating, funny and provocative satire. Tambo and Bones journey from comedy double-act to hip-hop superstars, to activists in a future America, contending with the alarming repercussions of a nation torn apart by race.
Tambo & Bones is a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Black community. This event is about uplifting voices and creating a safe, supportive space where every audience member feels valued and empowered.
Please note: this show is curated for those of a Global Majority background to experience the show with a majority Global Majority audience. However, we welcome all who wish to join in and participate, no-one will be turned away.
This whole evening will be £10 including ticket to the show. *Food after the show included in the ticket price.
