More Information on Contemporary Cuts
A series of short dance pieces from both upcoming and established choreographers. This evening includes a new work from Kenneth Tindall (Northern Ballet’s Casanova), a gripping pas de deux from Jonathan Watkins’ 1984, Demis Volpi’s love story Little Monsters, which is set to music by Elvis Presley and an excerpt from Cathy Marston’s Jane Eyre.
Northern Ballet returns to the stage in style with three exciting and varied programmes of work. Here at Leeds Playhouse, this exceptional company will explore the classics, celebrate the acclaimed work of their Artistic Director David Nixon OBE and showcase the next generation of choreographers.
You can enjoy one event or book for all three, tickets will be limited and information will be shared with bookers about changes we have implemented to make the theatre experience safe according to government advice and Covid-19 guidelines. More information

Parent & Baby Performance
A Parent and Baby performance enables parents to attend the theatre with their baby (under 12 months). We make small adaptations to the lighting and sound effects, including keeping the auditorium lights slightly raised. The seating is unallocated and there is a relaxed attitude to noise.
