More Information on Hamlet
MURDER. LOVE. REVENGE.
Consumed by passion and grief, young Hamlet embarks on a treacherous journey to avenge her father’s brutal murder in a striking new version of Shakespeare’s searing tragedy.
The extraordinary Tessa Parr undertakes the title role to create a contemporary Hamlet for the here and now, following her extraordinary portrayal of Juliet in our recent, highly acclaimed production of Romeo & Juliet. Reunited with Director Amy Leach and Designer Hayley Grindle, this is a thrilling, gripping new production of one of the greatest plays in the English language.
A Leeds Playhouse production.
