What’s New Pussycat? To be rescheduled

Production on What’s New Pussycat? was due to begin this summer. Unfortunately due to the current travel and social restrictions we have had to postpone this exciting new musical featuring the hit songs of music legend Tom Jones.

Moving the production to a future date will allow our International creative team the time and resources to come together and mount this brand new adaptation of Henry Fielding’s classic .

We are really disappointed to have to postpone this production but the wellbeing of our Playhouse community, including audiences, artists, participants and staff, continues to be our highest priority.

Please ‘Leave your hat on’ – we will be back next year and we cannot wait to share this dazzling brand-new musical.

Leeds Playhouse is a registered charity (No. 255460) and the loss of ticket sales for cancelled performances is financially devastating for us. We’re therefore, during this unprecedented time, giving ticket holders the option to consider making a donation to help sustain Leeds Playhouse – a theatre created by the people of Leeds, for the people of the Leeds City Region.

We are continuing to think of ways to keep connected and share our community’s creativity with you. We believe that everyone should have access to theatre.

We are currently adjusting to our new working environment and dealing with bookings on a show by show basis. We thank you for your patience during this time and ask that you only call our Box Office Team if your enquiry is urgent.

Help keep our story going.

Stay safe and well, see you soon.
