Recently, we welcomed back to Youth Theatre alumni member Maisie Adam, who took time out of her packed tour schedule to meet and chat with our current Youth Theatre members.

Together, they played some drama games and talked about future careers.

Reflecting on her time, Maisie said “I owe so much to the Playhouse Youth Theatre; on a personal level it did wonders for my confidence and introduced me to some of my best friends for life, but also on a professional level it gave me so many skills that I still use to this day in my career as a stand-up comedian. From vocal warm-ups and physical techniques for being onstage, to the sheer amount of incredible theatre (of all kinds!) that I got to see, it has certainly shaped me as a performer and I’ll always be eternally grateful for my years in the Playhouse Youth Theatre.”
